MGB ROADSTER - BLUE
This is the mechanicals and interior of the green MGB in the shell of the yellow MGB. It has been painted in this rather nice Saab colour - in two-pack by a professional bodyshop. As you can see it now sports chrome bumpers and grille, the crackle-black dash and instruments from the older car, the black vinyl trim. It also has the performance mods which were on the green car - thicker anti-roll bar, new Spaxes on the rear, uprated front lever-arm dampers, K&N filters, rejetted carbs, tubular manifold, stainless exhaust etc.
The car passed the MOT in April 2002, and is ready to go - it drives very solidly, and the stiff suspension lets you throw it around corners with the tyres squeaking. Like all 'B's it is underpowered, but if you keep the revs up and flick between top and O/D top you can keep it on the boil and have fun.
